Accessing the FTP (File-Transfer-Protocol)

Accessing the FTP (File-Transfer-Protocol) service can be done through two methods:

Access via Web Browser

Accessing the file system via web browser is done through your cPanel. (Instructions for accessing cPanel can be found HERE.)

When you are logged into the cPanel, you simply click the "File Manager" icon, denoted by the orange arrow as shown below.

Access via External FTP Client

Accessing the file system via an external FTP client is done by configuring your FTP client (See relevant instructions for your client.) with Have Freedom Hosting's FTP values below;

FTP Server: ftp.hfhosting.us
Port: 21
Encryption: Explicit FTP over TLS
Username: Your cPanel Username
Password: Your cPanel Password

Please note that the username and password variables may change if you have created a new FTP account or additional FTP accounts within the cPanel.

Access via External FTP Client
